Abstract


A high quality examination paper is the basis to evaluate how well the students master what they learn and can be used to analyze the effect of the teaching. In every day teaching, the teachers will spend a lot of time in making high quality examination papers. But if we want to use the computer to help the teachers to make high quality paper, a difficult problem, how to choose the appropriate questions from the questions database has to be solved. Many academic and research institutes make a lot of research on this problem. Though this problem has been researched for a long time, now we still can not find the appropriate methods to solve this problem effectively. As the development of computer technologies and artificial intelligence, the exam paper generating system has been paid a lot of attention by many scientists. The research not only involves how to establish the mathematical model of exam paper generating system, but also relates to the applied algorithms.After analyzing many domestic and international academic papers, this paper analyze exam paper generating problem and try to use the GA to help solve this problem.
