Abstract


Along with the swift and violent development of Internet technology and application, the B/S pattern is more and more used in the information management system. Therefore, it is imperatively to develop the application procedure based on the Web. And there will be a broader prospect that the database technology unifies with the Web technology. Since that the developing and using of database based on the Web has become the mainstream and the development tendency, and according to the actual requests on the equipment management in our army, I have designed and realized "Equipment Information Management System of the Units of Army and Division Level in Military". During the process of this item’s performance, I have paid attention to use the new technologies and the new tools. This system takes Windows 2000 Server as the operation platform and the B/S pattern as the basic, and uses the Microsoft Corporation’s newest development kit the .NET technology. In this condition, the system unifies to use the Oracle database to make the system structure to be reasonable, convenient and practical, and greatly enhanced the entire software system’s performance.This system’s main contents include:1. B/S pattern development technology this system uses. This system uses the popular technology plan in present, which is developing the Web server application procedure unifying IIS + .NET + database under environment of Windows which the Microsoft Corporation proposes. It provides the effective methods for fast developing Web management system which is dynamic, interactive and highly effective.2. The system’s main technology and characters include: (1) System’s convenient usability: Based on the B/S pattern, the system development and the maintenance is all done in the server end, and the user end can access the net registers to use system only needs to install the browser. And the contact surface is convenient and easy to use in a friendly way. (2) Real-time sharing: The legitimate users enjoy the different information services according to corresponding ranks. It satisfied the users who have the different demands. (3) Reliable security: This system bases on windows 2000 Server secure strategy and IIS and the Oracle database secure strategy, which are the basic guarantee to system secure.Since the management information system based on the Web has the superiority
