Abstract


In the research of the dissertation,I collect and sort out Wang Mengying’s medical record of treating impaired consciousness patients,then set up an Access data base of impaired consciousness cases,based on cause and pathogenesis、treating method、formula、herbs,and combine Wang Mengying’s medical statements and thoughts,I conclude Wang Mengying’s clinical experience of treating impaired consciousness cases from cause and pathogenesis、treatment based on syndrome differentiaton、treating method、formula and herbs.In the medical record,the cause of impaired consciousness can be concluded as treating febrile disease with wrong method、feotus blocking qi activity during pregnancy、improper diet、hard thinking beyond measure.Among the causes treating febrile disease with wrong method is the main cause.The pathogenesis of impaired consciousness can be concluded as excessive heat impairing mental faculty、heat invading pericardium、phlegm disturbing the consciousness、phlemg with liver-wind disturbing consciousness、collapse of yin and yan.The differentiation based on syndromes of the disease can be devided into excessive heat of qi impairing mental faculty、excessive heat of yangming fu-organ constipation、excessive heat of ying impaireing the mental faculty、excessive heat invading pericardium、phlemg with heat disturbing consciousness、phlegm disturbing consciousness、dirt produced by stomache disturbing mental faculty、depleting of yin、depleting of yan,totally nine types of syndrome.Besides,death cases are devided as a single type.Wang Mnegying flexibly uses the treating method of clearing heat、replenishing yin、subsiding endogenous wind、removing phlem according to the progressiong of the disease and the superficiality and origin of the disease.Clearing heat in the main treating method dealing with excessive heat disturbing mental faculty while subsiding endogenous wind and removing phlegm are subsidiary;resuscitation is the most important in dealing excessive heat invading pericardium;replenishing yin is primary treating collapse yin while clearing heat、subsiding wind and removing phlegm are subsidiary.Wang Mengying treats the impaired consciousness with these decoction : Baihu Decoction or Zhuye Shigao Decoction dealing with excessive qi heat disturbing mental faculty,Chengqi Decoction dealing with excessive heat of yangming fu-organ constipation,Jinsan Xijiao Dihuang Decoction dealing with excessive ying heat,Zixue Pellet、Shenxi Pellet、Zhibao Pellet、Wanshi Niuhuang Qingxin Pellet dealing with excessive heat invading pericardium,Juanyinliushen Decoction、Suhexiang Pellet、Yushu Pellet dealing with phlegm disturbing mental faculty,Zhishi Zhichi Decoction with modification dealing with dirt produced by stomache disturbing mental faculty,ZhiGancao Decoction with modification dealing with unconsciousness caused by collapse yin,ShenFuLongMu Decoction with modification dealing with collapse yan.Xiaoxianxiong Decoction dealing with phlegm-heat retention in chest,DangguiLongguiPellet dealing with phlemg-fire retention in liver,MengshiGuntan Pellet dealing with excessive syndrome of phlegm-fire,Xuegeng Decoction dealing with phlegm-heat rentention in liver and stomache.The Chinese medicie Wang Mengying used treating impaired consciousness:Xijiao、Niuhuang、Shichangpu、Lingyangjiao etc. to resuscitate,Zhimu、Yinhua、Huanglian、Zhizi、Zhuye、Shigao、Dahuang etc. to clear heat,Yuanshen、Huafen、Shengdi、Shihu、Maidong、Biejia、Guiban、Roucongrong etc. to replenish yin,Shichangpu、Zhuru、Beimu、Zhuli、
