Abstract

Objective Study to Its Health Adverse Effects and valuation pattern on indoor air quality in decorated Office Methods According to the completed time , ornament group Offices were divided into 5 groups(2 month group, 2-4month group, 5-8month group, 9-11month group, 12-18month group, over 5 year group). The concentration of indoor air pollutants in 150 offices was selected to determine and 478 people from decorated offices were randomly selected to answer the questionnaires on health。Offices over 5 years was regarded as control group and The concentration of indoor air pollutants in 50 offices was selected to determine and 139 people from control group were randomly selected to answer the questionnaires on health result The concentration of Formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene, methylbenzene, dimethyl benzene were significantly higher than standard and they were respectively 0.447、0.857、0.460、0.424、0.630(mg/m3)in 2 months .The concentration of indoor air pollutants decreased with the time prolonging after decoration and come to the standard after about one year. By the over standard rates in different time, the over standard rates of formaldehyde benzene amonia methylbenzene, dimethyl benzene was the highest in offices in 2 months and their numerical values were respectively 100%、87.3%、83.9%、97.5%、88.3%. The concentration of Formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene, methylbenzene, dimethyl benzene was respectively significantly higher than that of the control group in 1 year after decoration (p<0.05) the concentration of indoor air pollutants mainly correlated with completed time, coating material, paints, fiber carpet, artificial board, compound floor, whitening agent. The adverse reaction rate of the ornament group(76.4%) was significantly higher than that of the control group(28.9%) (p<0.01) ;The degree of symptom of the ornament group was significantly seriouser than that of the control group among eye stimulant, throat stimulant, nose stimulant, smell, and headache etc;The scores of adverse reaction was positive correlated with the concerntrations of formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene while negative correlated with completed time. Conclusion The decoration can pollute the air indoor and Office decoration has caused great harms on staff and the degree of adverse effects were positive correlated with the concentrations of formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene and negative correlated with completed time; Introduction of coefficient weight method can raise resolution of evaluation index to valuation pattern on indoor air quality
