Abstract


Investment environment is the exterior condition of carrying out investment for an area and is the basis and precondition for investment to be done. The development of a country or an area dependents on the investment to the country or the area; the investors will analyse the environment of the investment area before their investing activity and so in order to attract foreign investment they must analyse the environment so as to take measures to improve the investment environment; the developing of the evaluation of investment environment is the important basis to improve the investment environment of the area and advance the holistic competitive ability of the area by adopting scientific method and definite index and is also the basic work of developing investment and promoting propaganda and project recommendation.There are many factors concerning about the investment environment such as economy, market, government behavior, legal system, policies and regulations,infrastructure and human environment. Most of them are interacted each other and contribute to investment environment. So these are selected as the key factors to be researched in this thesis.Firstly, the author introduced the thesis’ research background, motivation and purpose. Secondly, the author explored the status of overseas and domestic research about the theory of investment environment. A comprehensive description of concept, classification and evaluation method of investment climate is given,for aim at understanding on investment climate, and it also helps the relevant government department to take proper evaluation method.Thirdly, the author brought forward the research methods, mainly including framework, tools, object and statistical methods of this study.The object of this investigation was the foreign enterprises in Hubei.Fourthly, In application of sampling evaluation method, to deal with some unquantifiable factors in investment climate, a questionnaires is made in form of subjective topics. The precious first-hand material in questionnaire will helps a lot in finding out the weakness of investment climates in Hubei.Based on the comparison and analysis, some proposals are offered in the end,in aim at present situation and problems of investment climates in Hubei.
