Abstract


Urbanization is the contemporary world is an important economic and social development trends, the level of urbanization is a measure of a country and regional economic and social development of the main symbol of the human and social development of urbanization is the inevitable result of a certain stage. Scientific concept of development, making the meaning of urbanization is not just economic development, but also economic, environmental, life and ecology of the overall development. At present, China has entered the fast development of urban historical stage, how to further enhance the level of urbanization and promote social economic development coordinated development is placed in front of us a very important of the issues. Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China, the region an area of 1.6 million square kilometers, account for one sixth of the total land area, is China’s largest provinces, and eight countries around the adjacent, located in the Asia-Europe continental hinterland, is an open gateway to the west, at the national implementation of the western development strategy assume an important role in facing great development opportunities. On the other hand the development of urbanization in Xinjiang and relatively backward, can not meet the well-off society’s development goals. By the urbanization of Xinjiang, Xinjiang will be coordinated urban and rural development, national integration, upgrade the industrial structure and improving people’s living standards, well-off society is extremely important.This paper describes the research background, significance and research status, and urbanization-related concepts and theories of regional development at home and abroad took a deep level of interpretation, On this basis, the paper on the status of Xinjiang Urban Development conducted a thorough analysis of AHP around the city in Xinjiang was evaluated level of urbanization, the urbanization in Xinjiang throughout the city were divided into four grades. Then, this paper analyzes the current situation and level of evaluation, based on economic development, low income of rural residents in Xinjiang’s social and cultural environment, resources, construction, environmental and institutional constraints on the rapid development of urbanization in Xinjiang factors were key research and analysis. In this study, the paper has on the USA, India and Israel and other countries and domestic urban development of more successful development of urbanization in some areas were analyzed, has summarized the more successful the development of urbanization and revelation. Finally, based on the foregoing analysis, this paper proposes to speed up the development of Xinjiang’s main measures of urbanization, namely, institutional reforms, to eliminate the system of constraints of urban development, strengthen education and publicity efforts to promote national integration and create a stable environment for the development of urbanization Sustainable development, urbanization, industrialization, speed up development and promote the urbanization process, unswervingly follow the strategy of small towns, sub-urbanization in Xinjiang region, to develop education and actively cultivate talents.
