Abstract


Ginseng has long been used as a tonic and agent forprolonging life span. But not everyone is fit for taking it.It cancause certain side effects on one who is in the case of excess, asis called drastic property. In this research, according totraditional processing principle, it is processed by constraining hot with cold to change its drastic properties into mild. Various assistant materials such as Cape Jasmine Fruit is selected toreduce drastic properties. Ginsenoside is determined by TLC and HPLC. The new processing technology is proved to be feasible by pharmaocological experiment.
