Abstract


Modern high-rise buildings developed rapidly in the process of accelerating urbanization today, especially driven by the city construction boom in the 80’s of the 20th century, the high-rise buildings increasing sharply of our large cities shows the blind development trend, making the city into a disordered state, and the overall urban climate into a gradual deterioration, which brought negative effects that can not be ignored. Harbin is a typical winter cities. Climate environment have a great influence on the qualities of urban space environments and activities of human behaviors. But high density and improper layout of high-rise buildings contribute to climate environment degradation, greatly affecting the quality of cold outdoors life for residents. So we introduce the climate design into the layout planning of high-rise buildings, take cross-disciplinary research, then interpret the layout planning and design issues of the high-rise buildings from new perspective, so that the layout of high-rise building can develop in a more scientific, rational and orderly direction.The article takes the theories of high-rise buildings layout as basis, interprets and defines the concept of winter cities, climate design, high-rise buildings layout, discusses the interaction relationship between the cold climate environments and layout planning of high-rise buildings in detail, then combines them on the level of space form further which lays the theoretical basis for proposing layout planning strategies of high-rise buildings. Then on the basis of summarizing the overviews of the climate and layout planning of current situations in Harbin, the article uses CFD technology simulating and analyzing the climate environment of influenced by the current circumstance and planning of the high-rise building layout in Harbin, and explores existing problems on climate designs of the current circumstance and planning of the high-rise building layout on this basis, then finds the fundamental causes that forms the overall layout of high-rise buildings. Finally, on the basis of the theories and realistic foundation above, besides on the purpose and principles of high-rise building layout planning induced by the climate design, the article proposes macro level strategies of high-rise buildings layout, and apply it to the layout of special planning of the existing high-rise buildings to amend the overall layout of high-rise buildings, which also can minimize the impact of the high-rise buildings layout form on the climate environment, improve environmental quality, and optimize the overall urban climate.Overall, it is a worthwhile research topic to construct a suitable layout form of high-rise buildings that fits the climate characters in Harbin, improve the overall climate environment in cold city, and improve the quality of survival living environment, which needs our long-term research in the future practice.
