1.The classification , manufacture craft and application of the conductive composite , as well as the kind of conductive filler, the capability and characteristic of Vinyl Ester Resin (VER) was summarized in detail. The model and mechanism of conductivity of organic complexity was introduced also.2. Electric conductivity composites based on expanded graphite(EG) and Vinyl Ester Resin has been firstly prepared and the effects of marinated time, stirring intensity and amount of coupling agents and the EG on the material were studied also, the EG Percolation threshold values is about 2.5%.3. In order to research the new materials and manufacturing for bipolar plate with high performance and low cost, graphite/PPS composites was prepared by mould pressure method. By studying the effects of resin content and processing on composites property the following conclusion was obtained:The flexural strength of the composites increases with the increasing of the content of the PPS , but the electric conductivity decreases with the increasing of the content of the PPS .It is suitable for bipolar plate, while the PPS content is about 25%. The composites’ density reaches maximum value and its gas permeability is lower , the electric conductivity is 106.3s/cm and the flexural strength is about 48.324MPa.The ideal parameters for preparing bipolar plate are : keeping 20minat 320℃ firstly and keeping 5min at 20MPa and 320℃ secondly.By the Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) investigation of graphite/PPS composites, it was found that PPS was uniformly distributed in composites and integrated well with graphite
