Abstract

Prussian blue analogs is a special type of molecule-based magnet, this materials is a kind of cyanid-bridged ion complexes. As a result of the strong magnetic coupling transfer ability of the cyanide, and the magnetic mainly comes from the superexchange interactions between the neighboring metal ions through the cyanide-bridging ligands. Prussian blue analogs often exhibit noble magnetic properties such as photoinduced magnetization and high Curie temperature. Many researchers pay attention to this field. In this paper, properties of the ternary alloy and the quaternary alloy magnets have been studied in detail, within Ising model and the framework of effective-field theory with correlations. The Ising model has been introduced in the transverse field and crystal field about Prussian blue analogs (AxB1-x)yC and (AaBbCc)yD.The formula about magnetization, initial susceptibility, internal energy and specific heat has been given. Then the numerical calculations and numerical results were analyzed. The results showed that the proportion of transition metal ions, transverse field, crystal field etc have an important impact on the system. The shape of the curve with the magnetization of prussian blue analogs with the multi-alloy changes in a transverse field achieved by the N-type, P-type and Q-type; The compensation temperature and the transition temperature decrease with increasing transverse field. One compensation point exists in the range of transverse fieldΩ<18.8225 when x=0.37 in (AxB1-x)yC. The critical value of transverse field for the magnetic ordering isΩ=51.01. Internal energy increases with the increasing transverse field and decreases rapidly with increasing temperature. Inflection point of the internal energy occurs in the transition point. Internal energy does not change significantly with increasing temperature when the temperature is greater than the transition temperature. The peak of the specific heat increases with the transverse field decreases. The magnetic suscep-tibility and the specific heat appear singular phenomena at the phase transition point. This strange phenomenon is a typical example of the second phase transition. The curves of the magnetization for Prussian blue analogs with the multi-alloy appear three types in the crystal field. In addition there have been other types of magnetization curve which are not predicted by Neel. The compensation temperature and the phase transition temperature increase with the decreasing of the crystal field. The compensation temperature of ternary alloy disappears when D<-7.4. The ternary alloy system has compensation temperature when the concentration of ion A changes in the range from 0.306 to 0.428. When the value of concentration of ion A in quaternary alloy fixed at a=0.3, there are two compensation points when the concentration of ion B in the range of 0.596<b<0.6009, and the distance between the two compensation points increases with the decreasing the concentration of ion B. There is one compensation point when the concentration of ion B in quaternary alloy in the range 0.6009<b<0.69. The compensation temperature increases with the increase of concentration of ion B. The compensation point disappears when the concentration of ion B is less than 0.596.
