Abstract


On the point of formational mechanism of the abrupt pulse, majority think the reason is excessive heat so that the fast blood flow can not be continuous. Qi stagnation, blood stasis, phlegm obstruction as well as diet block with the result that qi and blood can not circulate freely and smoothly which can give rise to pulse arrest. The research on the mechanism of the fact that the insufficient qi can not propel blood and yang asthenia can not warm up, all of which result in that qi and blood can not circulate continuously and pulse beat fleetly and discontinuously is still few. This subject will deeply study the reason why insufficient qi and yang asthenia can result in abrupt pulse and come up with new cognition about the formational mechanism of abrupt pulse.Looking into domestic clinical study on abrupt pulse, the reports on both formational mechanism of abrupt pulse and abrupt pulse related materials are few, meanwhile, the reports are limited within compendious and crude conclusion on the relationship between abrupt pulse and arrhythmia. In this regard, this study is going to proceed in two respects, the one is from pulse to disease and the second is from disease to pulse. The first respect highlights the relativity between abrupt pulse and related diseases, the second is engaged in the cause and effect as well as inherent relationship between abrupt pulse and related diseases.On the basis of researching into ancient and modern cultural heritages, demonstrating the relation between abrupt pulse and coronary heart disease associated with heart failure based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and modern western medicine. Then, to statistics and analyze the ratio of coronary heart disease patients with both heart failure and abrupt pulse based on the results of analyzing patients’ files from archives of hospitals and taking pulse images from related patients.To a conclusion, insufficient qi and yang asthenia is also the important reason for formation of abrupt pulse, meanwhile, there is inherent relation between abrupt pulse and heart failure.
