Abstract

Rice (Oryzae sativa L.) heterosis use is the main way to increase production of rice in China, but the two major diseases of rice blast and bacterial blight of many varieties of rice does not have the disease resistance, yield advantage not to play an important role, resulting in significant economic losses. Use of resistance genes in rice, pest control is most effective and economical way to foster resistance to blast and bacterial blight resistance of new rice varieties. Huazhong Agricultural University bred in recent years, formulated to China 102S Hua 103S as the female parent, T1007 parent, two hybrid rice combinations Hualiangyou 103, China 105,; Chinese 201S as the female parent two line hybrid rice combinations Hualiangyou 1206, audited by the Jiangxi and Hubei Province, to promote cultivation, but not resistance to rice blast and bacterial blight. The experiment by backcross breeding methods - self, combined with marker-assisted selection and tissue culture, the blast resistance gene Pi-2 Import blast resistance Hualiangyou 103 and China 105, the paternal T1007, in order to improve the blast resistance of the two combination. Bacterial blight resistance gene Xa7 Xa21 import anti the bacterial blight Hualiangyou 1206 female parent China 201S to bacterial blight resistance. The main findings are as follows: 1 Using Backcross - selfing breeding methods, combined with molecular marker-assisted selection and immature embryo culture, blast resistance gene Pi-2 Import blast resistance early indica restorer lines T1007 has improved resistance gene Pi-2 homozygous strains 12 lines. Resistance Identification of improved lines, whose resistance has reached a resistance level. Two pairs of 12 resistance gene Pi-2 homozygous lines of agronomic traits investigated results show that the strain VE6203, VE6213, VE6222 VE6228 VE6234 various traits with the control, did not show a significant difference. Strain VE6202 VE6205 VE6208 VE6217 VE6235 seed setting rate and grain weight are two important agronomic traits were significantly increased. 12 lines Hua 102S combined measured with and comparison with the original combination Hualiangyou 103, results show that the combination the VE6283 (China 102S/VE5067) in various agronomic traits and control China Liangyou 103 No significant difference exists. Four important agronomic traits of effective panicles, panicle length, filled grains per panicle and grain weight combination VE6279, VE6281, VE6286 VE6288 China Liangyou 103 significant differences relative to the control, an increase in varying degrees, ultimately constitute a significant impact on yield per plant, has improved to varying degrees. 12 homozygous strains with China 103S with combination the agronomic traits visits. With the combination of plant type, cell performance, plant height, spike length, grain weight and other agronomic traits, with the control Hualiangyou 105 are basically the same, there is no obvious difference. Of improved through backcross breeding and molecular marker-assisted selection T1007 China 103S
