Abstract


Government has a high degree of responsibility in the field of environmental protection. This article through the study of the theory and analysis of the current performance appraisal system of local government environmental protection, summed up the problem of local government in environmental protection work, the experience gained in the process of environmental performance appraisal practice and shortcomings, attempt to establish an effective, operational environmental performance appraisal system, and start from the system construction, by means of legislation, public participation, and improve the environmental assessment system, to ensure the effective implementation of environmental performance evaluation.
