Abstract


Cartoon character design visual language research , trying to the mining animation art visual performance potential , and to explore the visual language animation character design , and thus to broaden creative ideas to improve the animation artistic expression . Synchronic and the diachronic interaction model as a theoretical framework of the thesis semiotics of language , the visual language of animation character design is divided into two parts, static and dynamic state basis synchronic and diachronic symbol difference explore the manifestation of the image of the animated characters , and comprehensive visual and symbolic semantics on the deep-seated structural relationship to establish the full mode of interpretation and design of animated characters . Its emphasis on the following : ( 1 ) the visual language elements have any chain combined to form a new combination meaning that symbolism . Visual language elements directly affect the final results of the animated characters , metaphor or metonymy and the ability to interpret the images. (2) The total time of the visual language characteristic of the symbol has its own specific meaning to refer to . (3) the visual language of the diachronic process in time to the interpretation of the animated characters , through the rhythm of the action , exaggeration and distortion processing suggests that the role of psychological characteristics . (4) The total time of combination of diachronic visual language can combinations produce a new meaning , and this meaning is far more than the sum of the separate elements of meaning . (5) The design animated characters is the premise of the animated character development of historical, cultural and commercial factors , the use of visual language modeling method .
