Abstract

For the performance of China's car market in the past four years, was with three blowout, overnight avalanche \For the world from 2001-2003, China's automotive industry, in particular, the pace of development of the car industry has attracted the attention of both joint ventures or private enterprises, leading enterprises and new force throws the rhetoric of capital expansion, a rush around repairer The movement seems to continue for warming. However, everyone did not expect the domestic automobile market in 2004 despite drastic changes, the sudden drop in temperature, major manufacturers trying by frequent price cuts to boost demand, but the entire auto market seems to be caught in a quagmire, the downturn of the stock market is not seen little improvement. People to calm down at this time to re-examine the performance of the domestic car market in 2004: China's car industry is really people so pessimistic? Whether the car industry is in what stage of development? There is no further rapid development of power? This article the use of empirical research on domestic and foreign automobile (including sedan) industry data aggregation, filtering, classification, summed up the scale of the industry, annual sales growth, market share, concentration, and other aspects of the data. Then through the analysis of these data, the comparison reveals structural features of China's car industry, especially the concentration characteristics. The estimated concentration process mainly to the annual production, annual sales for the determination of base CR_n, H index, E index as an indicator. Compare the measurement results of the three indicators corresponding actual test H index and E index practicality. The country with the world's major car production industry concentration rate compared infer China's auto industry, the current stage of development and the future direction of development. The study found that China's auto industry in 2004 is no continuation of the the previously rapid development momentum, but the production and sales breakthrough 5,000,000, an increase of about 15%. In this context, the total annual production of cars 2,219,600, an increase of 10.8% over the same period last year; sales of sedans (the domestic new car) was 2,233,100, an increase of 13.3% over the same period last year; passenger car production and sales in the world 8. Amazing with the previous two years, the growth rate can not be compared, but relative to the downturn in the world auto industry, a growth rate of nearly 13% of the Chinese auto market to become the indispensable point of growth in the world automotive industry. Of course, both from the development history, technical level, or from the market structure, the scale of the industry point of view, China's car industry is in its infancy. Compared with the concentration of the world's major car producing countries, the study found excessive vendor number and feature low concentration ratios reflect China's car market, but in recent years, the concentration ratios gradually decreasing trend. Throughout the world automotive industry is gradually developed into an oligopoly market structure, only controlled by the largest car producer groups and businesses. According to the world automotive industry
