Abstract

Fauconnier as the representative of a group of American scholars put forward the concept of synthesis theory is the continuation and development of the mental space theory on the basis of the theory of conceptual metaphor is an important part of the cognitive linguistics, its purpose is to try to reveal the words The significance of online build (on-line Construction) behind the tall cognitive iceberg. In recent years, the emergence of a series of introductory conceptual blending theory article, and for Chinese studies, including reading the interpretation of the Chinese Sayings Image of ancient poetry, and so on. Conceptual Blending Theory Cognitive Linguistics of the school following the conceptual metaphor theory after another new perspective, scholars have tried to prove or study asked the explanatory power of the theory of conceptual blending from linguistic theory and practice aspects. Domestic research on the compound word has been a controversial topic. Long history of development, the Chinese characterized by concise, hidden behind the seemingly simple form complex meaning. Mr. Lv Shuxiang had pointed out as early as in the \this \Such as the \difference. This is due to factors in the scene into morphemes are usually only two, most of the linguistic information as background knowledge, and therefore has a very important role in the association between morphemes for the understanding of the entire compound word, and the close relationship between the morphemes The degree can also become one of the standard divided compound words and phrases. I found in the course of the study, the synthesis of four concepts conceptual blending theory - one-way network (simplex network), reflection network (mirror network), single domain network (single-scope network) and double (or more) domain network (double-scope network) generally covers all types of thinking conceptual integration, the process of combining morpheme in Chinese compounds generally correspond to the four way. Morpheme combination of tightness which it arose and the complexity of the process of thinking of a great relationship, which produce the more complex the process, the resulting compound word morpheme relationship more closely, the greater the likelihood of generated words are compound words. Therefore, this paper proposed a a hypothesis: can be synthesized in four concept as the standard distinction between compound words and phrases, the formation of a progressive body: generate involving the words of the two-domain network is a typical compound word, words involving a single domain network times typical compound words, words involving one-way network and reflective network of atypical compound words. In addition, the departure from the laws of cognition, Zhu Yan (2004) generation of a compound word made corresponding changes.
