Alternating magnetic field measurement ( ACFM ) is the rise in recent years , a new type of electromagnetic non-destructive testing technology, it can achieve the measurement of the size of the metal surface cracks . Based on this study the case of the alternating magnetic field scanning imaging detection technology of the alternating magnetic field technology and imaging technology research status and development trend , the use of finite element numerical simulation method the excitation coil along different scanning direction , the magnetic field disturbance on the defect distribution analysis, draw the magnetic field component of the curve Bz and the magnetic field component Bx of the curve , respectively, and the length and depth of the defect corresponding relation . The alternating magnetic field scanning imaging detection system hardware and software design , to build an experimental platform . The wavelet transform for detecting the signal-to-noise removal , from the qualitative point of view , the recognition method of Crack method of analysis is obtained from the detection signal for the defect length and depth . Last scan imaging technology , respectively with the Bx and Bz detection signal of the amplitude information of the C - scan image Classifying defects manner jointly by the two images combined length information and the depth information of the new method . Measured data on the experimental platform for the design , experimental specimen surface cracks , scanning and imaging results , with the agreement of theory and simulation results .
