Water is an important matter of human survival and development, there is no water there is no rich variety of life forms on Earth. However, with the continuous improvement of China's urbanization rate, the volume of sewage a significant increase in the worsening natural water eutrophication, the apparent shortage of water resources has become a bottleneck restricting the social and economic development in China. Small and medium-sized point source sewage treatment rate to reduce the nitrogen content in the drainage is the key to control eutrophication, the development of small and medium-sized energy efficient point source wastewater denitrification process is of great practical significance. Traditional wastewater denitrification process is complex, the high cost of investment in infrastructure and operation management, and does not apply to small and medium-sized point source sewage treatment. This issue through the model reactor test a new wastewater denitrification process - suspended carrier expanded bed sewage treatment effect. The test results show that the process has a high removal efficiency of organic matter (COD) and ammonia nitrogen in sewage apparent removal of TN. When the the reactor hydraulic loading 0.28m3 / (m2 · h) to 0.64m3 / (m2 · h), COD removal rate is maintained at between 92.5% to 83.3%, 88.8% to 77.3% of the ammonia removal efficiency, TN removal rate of between 57.4% to 32.7%. When the reactor influent flow 35L / h (the hydraulic loading 0.50m3 / (m2 · h)), aeration rate of 105L / h (air-water ratio 3:1), nitrification fluid back flow 105L / h (nitrification liquid reflux ratio 3:1), the reactor has a high removal rate of COD and ammonia in sewage treatment, the average total nitrogen removal rate of 61.9%. This operating parameters can be used as the optimum operating parameters of the reactor, to provide a reference for further study in the future. Suspended carrier expanded bed in the upper aerobic zone dosing carrier filler, fillers internal and surface biofilm formation makes the aerobic zone to form a aerobic - anoxic micro-environment, so as to the occurrence of simultaneous nitrification in the aerobic zone Denitrification reaction and provide the necessary conditions. Test run data analysis that occurred simultaneous nitrification and denitrification in the aerobic zone. In addition, the phase of the study of the biological reactor found coexistence of activated sludge and biofilm makes reactor intersect the food chain formed by bacteria, fungi, protozoa and micro-metazoan trophic structure of this complex not only greatly improve the stability of the the suspended carrier expanded bed ecosystem, provide effective guarantee for the normal operation of the system functions, stable sewage treatment, and also makes the system has a higher energy flow and material conversion efficiency, showing affected by temperature changes, the treatment effect, shock load capability
