Abstract


This article discusses the clinical reseach on treatment of dysmenorrhea with cataplasm ,a new external cure pharmaceutical type. With the direction of Tutor Gao Shuzhong , Ma Yuxia has done the clinical research on the treatment of dysmenorrhea with fumigating the navel during 2001-2002, and the total effective rate was 100% . The cataplasm is a kind of new external cure pharmaceutical type on the base of former herbs , and the kinds and proportions of herbs we have chosen to make the cataplasm are just the same as those we use to fumigate the navel . We treat dysmenorrhea abiding by the principle of“modulating the Chong and Ren channels and alleviating the pain by inducing menstruation”.In contrast with the acupuncture group and the navel-fumigating group ,we observe the changes of the patients’BBT, hemorrheology, E2 and P after the treatment . It proves that there’s no significant difference between the effects of the cataplasm group and the acupuncture group, and cataplasm has the same effect of relieving pain as the former navel-fumigating method . The method is really a kind of simple and effective pharmaceutical type with both the traditional advantages of navel therapy and the advantages of cataplasm. Meanwhile, the research will provide us with references for further improving the pharmaceutical type, enhancing curative effects and exploring new ways of external treatment with traditional chinese medicines.
