Abstract

Chitosan derived from shrimp, crabs and other marine life, the shrimp and crab shell waste as raw materials to produce chitosan, both turning waste into treasure, and clean up the environment, kill two birds with one stone. Chitosan has good biocompatibility and biodegradability, non-toxic tasteless stimulation and good moisture absorption, antimicrobial film-forming, adsorption characteristics. But chitosan is not soluble in water and organic solvents, and can only be dissolved in an acidic aqueous solution, which greatly limits its applications. Chitosan molecular structure containing amino and hydroxy groups, and easy to be chemically modified. Therefore, its chemical modification, in order to further expand the range of applications of chitosan, some of the excellent performance of the new compounds developed to become a hot research field. Synthesized and reported in the literature has yet to see a water-soluble chitosan sulphonate anionic surfactant. As raw materials by the addition reaction of epichlorohydrin, sodium bisulfite, chitosan, epoxidation reaction, the synthesis of the N-alkylation reaction of a soluble in water, chitosan sulfonate anionic surfactant agent, using infrared spectroscopy analysis by means of UV spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, thermal decomposition products were characterized. Conductivity method, rings, maximum bubble method to test the critical micelle concentration (CMC) of the product. The results show that: the three methods of measuring product CMC values were: 2.25 × 10-4mol · L-1, 5.60 × 104 mol L-1, 2.50 × 10-4mol · L-1, rings Law and maximum bubble method The measured surface tension of 46 mN · m-1 and 48 mN · m-1, respectively. Description The surfactant has a certain surface activity, provided the theoretical basis for the further study of chitosan anionic surfactant. Ceric ammonium nitrate as initiator, dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride (DMDAAC) as raw material, graft modification of chitosan synthesized chitosan quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant. By IR, UV spectra, nuclear magnetic resonance, thermal decomposition were characterized by means of the graft copolymer structure, calculated product of the critical micelle concentration and critical surface tension, solubility product, emulsifying properties, compatibility performance, antibacterial properties and moisture absorption properties. The results show that the measured conductivity and maximum bubble chitosan quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant critical micelle concentration of 6.80 × 10-4mol · L-1 and 8.90 × 10-4mol · L-1, The critical surface tension of 39 mN · m-1. Apart from not compatibility with anionic surfactants, and other types of surface active agent has a good compatibility. Of the surface active agent against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli with good antibacterial effect, with the chitosan quaternary ammonium surfactant concentration increased, the inhibitory effect enhanced. Further, the cationic surfactants of quaternary ammonium salt of chitosan has good absorbent, moisturizing effect, within 72 h in the absorbent is higher than glycerol, or even close to the absorbent rate as reported in the literature, hyaluronic acid, is expected in the cosmetic areas to replace expensive hyaluronic acid. As initiator, ceric ammonium nitrate as raw materials the DMDAAC, maleic acid, chitosan by graft copolymerization reaction Synthesis of chitosan amphoteric surfactants. Means of infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, thermal decomposition of the product was characterized by conductivity method, rings Law were measured product critical micelle concentration of 1.85 × 10-4 mol · L-1 and 2.23 × 10-4mol · L-1, and the critical surface tension of 45 mN · m-1. Solubility of product compatibility, performance, antibacterial properties and moisture absorption performance. The results show that the new synthetic surfactant has a good solubility in water, but the product is placed longer, poorer dissolution performance; having good compatibility capacity and absorbent, moisturizing ability, against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli has no significant inhibition . Studies have shown that chitosan quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant properties are superior to other chitosan modified surfactant. Therefore, chitosan quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant has broader application development space, is expected to be widely used in medicine, food, cosmetics, textile printing and dyeing, environmental protection and other fields.
