Abstract


Objective To describe the community health care workers with chronic non-communicable diseases (referred to chronic) nutrition-related knowledge and distribution characteristics, chronic medical nutrition education community to understand the attitude and conduct of the case and the effect of education, to further improve the level of community health care workers to provide nutrition education chronic diseases scientific basis. Cluster sampling method Fuyang three administrative regions of six community health service centers and 12 community health service stations for the study site to the medical staff of the institution for the survey, in July 2011 its nutrition education-related chronic diseases knowledge, attitude and behavior questionnaire, and ultimately get 220 are valid. The questionnaire included the study population sociology basic information, knowledge of nutrition-related chronic diseases, nutrition education for chronic perceptions and attitudes, as well as nutrition education intervention in chronic disease conditions and the conduct of the major difficulties faced. Analysis of the data between the two groups were compared using t-test, three more sets of analysis of variance was used to compare the rate of chi-square test, some indicators constitute a description than using a pie chart. Results surveyed 220 community health care workers in 99 males (45.0%) females and 121 (55.0%); age composition of less than 40-year-old middle-aged majority of 160 (72.7%); educated to secondary school and college-based, a total of 205 people (93.2%); junior titles with 205 (68.6)%; community health service centers and station personnel were 177 (80.5%) and 43 (19.5%). Chronic medical community nutrition knowledge average score (63.91 ± 15.27), a passing rate of 66.4%, excellent rate of 19.5%. Only 44 (20.0%) known 2007 version of \Select the main source of nutrition knowledge of medical books 168 people (76.4%), followed by seminars 122 (55.5%), different age groups vary main source of nutrition knowledge. Community health care in chronic diseases that carry out nutrition education is necessary or required were 135 (61.4%) and 81 (36.8%), only four (1.8%) that is not necessary, but recognized community nutrition education clinicians, preventive health care doctors, community nurses shared responsibility only 94 (42.7%). Community health service staff in the past year, 148 people (67.3%) participated in community nutrition and health education, which holds that only works well 29 (19.6%), good 43 (29.1%), that the general 70 (47.3%), as well as six people (4.1%) considered less effective. Chronic currently conducting community nutrition education the main difficulties in more than 50% of people reported in nutrition knowledge, skills, organizational skills, equipment, four aspects are difficult. Conclusion community nutrition-related chronic diseases medical knowledge overall level is not high on the \Community health care for chronic nutrition education awareness of the importance of attitude is very positive, most people participated in nutrition education activities, but the effect is not ideal. Nutrition knowledge, skills, organizational skills and equipment are currently conducting community chronic nutritional education the main difficulties.
