Abstract

With the advancement of science and technology enterprise external competitive environment occurred a significant change , competition among enterprises has been more than just a competition between a department or several departments , but based on the core competencies of the entire value chain competition. This paper first introduces the background and significance of the topic , the status quo of the value chain development and research trends , presented the main content and research methods . In this paper, Michael ? Porter's value chain theory based framework , the application operating cost analysis method to analyze cement plant in Shanxi as a case analysis of the industry as well as Shanxi cement plant development status , pointed out the difficulties faced by the Shanxi cement plant ; -depth study the cost of the Shanxi cement plant value chain and the value activities of its unit cost , made a detailed analysis to identify the key cost drivers , and its made a sensitivity analysis . Enterprise scale , coal consumption , power consumption of its cost impact is most obvious , several key factors that determine the amount of value-added value activities of Shanxi cement plant as well as the cost of the status . The article suggests Shanxi cement plant must transform the value of production and operation activities , the initial formation of the economies of scale ; reduce the cost of the auxiliary value activities in the value chain ; intensity of technological transformation , control key cost drivers . Summarized in the concluding section of the paper . Cement kilns in Shanxi in quantitative research enterprise cost management , competitive strategy formulation , Competitive Advantage and value chain , with a certain sense of reality .
