The author believes that The English textbook reform is to improve the quality of vocational school teaching critical link. At home and abroad for English textbooks, but specifically English textbooks for secondary vocational education is very scarce, so as a English teachers in vocational education, has the responsibility and obligation to undertake the task of teaching materials research. The author foreign trade schools in Tangshan City, according to theory of pedagogy, textbook evaluation theory, language learning and language teaching theory, integrated use of questionnaires and interviews in which teachers and students use textbooks on the current English (basic module) the in-depth investigation and specific analysis, which found the problem, and trying to figure out the cause of the problem, and in conjunction with their teaching practice in the papers at the end of the range of vocational English textbook usage recommendations.
