Abstract

43 AD to about 410 AD , most of the British Isles as a province of the Roman Empire - \Under the rule of Rome , Rome, material culture and spiritual culture continue to penetrate the lives of local people in Britain , resulting in Britain in the political , economic and cultural aspects have been varying degrees of Romanization . The purpose of this paper is to systematically explore the Roman province of Britannia situation , especially in the towns and Roman religion , furthermore summary of the characteristics of the Roman province of Britannia . This article is the first part of the history of the Roman conquest of Britain combed for ; were introduced before the arrival of the Romans in Britain and Caesar overview of two British expeditions , and the most Houkelaodi emperor conquered Britain , the process of establishing the British province . The second part discusses the Roman province of management model for Britain . Focuses on the British province of the Governor and other important official duties , the Roman government taxation measures on Britain , tribal councils to establish administrative and provinces , as well as the construction of the Roman road . The third part discusses the Romanized towns and villages in the establishment of the Roman Villa created. The fourth part discusses the British provinces , respectively, in language, art and religion of Rome . Roman rule brought not only to the British people long for peace , but remove it from the savage ignorance into the Iron Age to town as a symbol of civilization . In Britain as large a province of the Roman Empire nearly four hundred years , since the degree of deepening the Roman civilization has improved continuously, in other parts of the Empire economic and cultural exchanges have become more frequent. Thus, the British province 's history is a long- lasting , rich and vivid and specific history ; against the Roman province of Britannia only help our understanding of early civilization in the history of Britain , but also make us more in-depth understanding of the Roman Empire ruled province strategy .
