Abstract


LED (Light Emitting Diodes) display technology is new and modern technology to optoelectronics, computer and control integrated in one . Closely integrated with traditional advertising to become a new kind of media propaganda tool , widely used in the exhibition center , information display and advertising of financial markets , stadiums , airports , docks , stations and other public places . LED display system is composed mainly by the display module, controller , and the completion of the text entry and a display mode selection computer three parts . The system can display both Chinese and English , and can also display graphic symbols specified by the user . LED display system users much welcome display diverse and visual experience ideal advertising in recent years, the rapid development of new technology products . However, due to its complex system supporting control display content only nearby complete enough to facilitate equipment maintenance , makes LED display application sites are very limited , especially remote control and synchronization information transmission can not be achieved , these require further improved and increased. This article is for study only displays text symbols LED display system . First, the details of the development and status of the LED display at home and abroad , and for the problems that exist in the current display system , the proposed new program for a microcomputer control system of three-dimensional dynamic LED dot matrix display . Simple and convenient man-machine dialogue window to enter the command to achieve remote control of the display module , so can update the display at any time and a full range of space stereoscopic display . From the host computer character font dot matrix information extraction paper began to serial communication between the upper and lower computer , and the final realization of the stepper motor control system and information display detailed software processes and circuit design , and discuss the specific technical difficulties in the design solution .
