Abstract


The red mud ( red mud ) is a waste generated with bauxite, alumina process is extremely complex chemical composition . Red mud of China's annual emissions of about 500 million t , most of which are directly built of red mud dam in the open air , long-term occupation of large areas of land and farmland . Some chemicals by various means infiltration into the groundwater , endangering the health of residents . The red mud contains large amounts of alkaline substances , and Portland cement is alkaline substances , can not be mixed in accordance with the traditional craft production of building materials , the subject of magnesium oxychloride cement instead of portland cement test . In this paper, test red mud , MgO , MgCl2 , sand, foam liquid , water-cement ratio and admixtures of red mud foam concrete performance . On orthogonal test method best fit than the density of 800kg/m3 red mud foam concrete , mud, bubbling liquid , MgO and MgCl2 content on foam concrete is the most significant . As independent variables to the four established four linear regression equation model , and obtain the coefficients of the regression equation , ideal total correlation coefficient test showed that model . Finally, the SPSS software to further verify the four linear regression equation model , the obtained equation coefficients and correlation coefficient and the previous fully consistent , and convenient . SEM testing means the the foam pass , aperture foam concrete strength , the red mud foam concrete microstructure and water resistance of magnesium oxychloride cement foam concrete mechanism analysis, its hydration process also carried out the corresponding analysis . In addition, magnesium oxychloride cement foam concrete mechanism of the role of the modifier related experiments and found that phosphate has good water resistance effect , at the same time to determine the appropriate dosage range . Design suitable for industrial production of red mud foam concrete production line , the product process , the technology has been in Shandong Aluminum Company cement plant started trial production . This indicates that the red mud foam concrete can be commercially successful , and will also be available for enterprises to create a good economic and social benefits .
