Abstract


Since reform and opening , China's urbanization continues to accelerate, the rapid expansion of city size , due to urban construction and active or passive farmers lost their land more and more , followed by more and more problems , thus forming a problem many vulnerable groups in society - landless peasants . Problems in this group varied, but we look it seems , which is \How to properly resolve the livelihood of landless peasants employment , social security , how to maintain the landless peasants lost their land during the legitimate rights and interests will not be harmed , how to help the landless farmers to establish and improve sustainable livelihoods , how to guide landless peasants from rural life to adapt the transition to urban life , these problems are on the road of urbanization around the obstacles , however , only solve these problems , China's urbanization to the healthy and orderly development, social stability and harmony in order . In this paper, the town of Suzhou Loufeng lotus three communities, landless peasants as the research object , lost their land for the landless peasants in the development of livelihoods after a series of questions . How the current living conditions of these farmers , landless former family economic status than any change , causes of variation is what is policy considerations or factors that individual families , as a context for this study . In this paper, the British International Development Agency (the UK's Department for international Development, DFID) to establish sustainable livelihoods framework - DFID model as the basis for sustainable livelihoods at home and abroad , landless farmers' livelihoods theoretical support relevant research , through case studies and analogies combination of research methods analysis lotus three communities of landless peasants household livelihood sustainability. DFID Livelihoods model using the five capital analysis affect families of landless peasants ability to resist social risk factors , while the relevant policies validity test .
