Abstract


With the increasing difficulty of prospecting and exploration in the large - scale structure of ore-controlling characteristics and the prediction of concealed ore body positioning , to carry out multi-disciplinary multi-technology joint research to come to a consensus . Quaternary cover serious mine how effectively comprehensive utilization of contemporary geophysical exploration technology for large-scale structure of ore-controlling characteristics , and guidance prospecting forecasting , has important theoretical and practical significance . Both VLF and EH4 geophysical methods , for example , in the Daxinganling the SOUTH segment Chaihulanzi GOLD , cosmic ground that Sri Lanka Desk ditch mine, Hal qulu , Figure silver copper polymetallic ore mine coverage area structure Ore Control research practice . Made the following main understanding : a system for metal mineralization controlled by structure ( fault structure ) , very low frequency (VLF) electromagnetic measurement (VLF-EM) is a very convenient and effective shallow Geophysical means , effectively delineated coverage area construct the plane distribution of the low-resistivity zones of mineralization and shallow occurrence , while the EH4 can high-precision reaction deep geological structure , occurrence , and the combination of characteristics . Can reveal a combination of both coverage areas : 1 ) the structure characteristics of the occurrence of the mineralized zone ; 2 ) ore-controlling structure pattern characteristics ; 3 ) construct composite ore control regularity favorable prospecting site . Structure Ore Control VLF, EH4 geophysical methods to study concrete steps : ( 1 ) site survey and analysis of geological data ; screening the most favorable metallogenic section ② based on the understanding of the laws of the geological structure and mineralization in the mine ; ( 3 ) very low frequency sweep surface to detect concealed mineralization - the structure alteration zone spread in shallow occurrence ; ④ focus on key prospecting section ; ⑤ EH4 detailed investigation of the deep ore-controlling structure prediction ; ⑥ engineering verification . 3 , studies have shown that the combination of VLF and EH4 Structure Ore Control of the Daxinganling SOUTH segment coverage area studies , is an effective method . Especially for hydrothermal and skarn deposits of ore-controlling structure , this combination to carry concealed structure - the spatial orientation of the mineralized zone , the basic pattern of the ore-controlling structure analysis and forecast prospecting favorable site positioning application effect obviously worth further promote .
