Abstract

In the framework of steel beams and columns connected directly related to the performance of the overall response of the structure , traditional design and analysis of the connection simple assumed to be rigidly connected or hinged and can not truly reflect the actual situation . Therefore, the characteristics of semi-rigid steel frame beam-column connection can be used to steel structure system select the beam - column connection forms the theoretical basis and practical projects reference has important theoretical and practical significance . In this paper, more popular in the international large general-purpose finite element software ANSYS three-dimensional nonlinear finite element analysis , finite element model more complex with 8-node solid elements on the top and seat angle with double web connection node the unit SOLID45 the contact element CONTAI174 and TARGE170 type , full account of the impact of material nonlinearity , geometric nonlinearity , as well as state yesterday linear . Consider the material , geometry, and state three - dimensional nonlinear finite element method analysis of the top and seat angle with double web connection , realistic simulation of angle steel beams and columns flange surface of the bolt head ( cap ) with plate bolt holes and bolts contact between the rod . Steel support double web top and seat angle modal deformation characteristics of earthquake force , load connected to the steel framework ? Displacement hysteretic curve , node force and deformation characteristics . The results show that the top and seat angle connection , double web steel frame under seismic action with good hysteretic behavior of the plastic deformation of the structure starts at the top and seat angle , semi-rigid nodes mainly reflected in the top and seat angle .
