Geography is the study of the earth's surface space science, it is one of the unique spatial signs . Proved : geographers, geography teachers and other professionals perennial work in the field of geography and thinking experience, and gradually formed a keen perception of geographical space , positioning, imagination and the ability to think , these capabilities can collectively call them geospatial capabilities. This ability is conducive to successfully think and solve geographic problems, from a certain sense , geospatial capabilities are based on the work of geographers . Students geospatial knowledge, understanding and application of learning related to the level of geography and geographic literacy level . Particularly in arts high school high school through high school geography systematic in-depth study should be given a higher geospatial capabilities , which requires learners to build geospatial geographical concept , the formation of geo-spatial ability, and geo-spatial positioning capability is obtained geography students space capabilities basic capabilities . In the actual teaching secondary school geography , geo-spatial positioning for teaching is the ability to do specific , is the starting point of most geospatial ability from geospatial positioning abilities began. Geo-spatial positioning capability level to some extent restricts the students and teachers of geography teaching learning process . In this study, factors affecting geospatial positioning starting geospatial positioning capability designed questionnaire . Through statistical analysis of the questionnaire found that students geospatial positioning capability overall level is not high , all grades between , between boys and girls , between the arts and sciences are different. Article on factors that may affect the survey results and impact have also done a survey analysis, and on this basis propose targeted students geospatial positioning capability effective strategy .
