Object surface sediments of the Yangtze Delta and the Yellow River mouth, by granularity, magnetic characteristics and geochemical analysis, discriminant analysis of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River into the sea of ??substances to provide new indicators. In order to more fully reflect the Yangtze Delta and the magnetic characteristics of the Yellow River Estuary, the sampling distribution of a large area of ??the area covered by the two major estuaries. Yangtze Delta, including Chase - the Jiangyin segment and the following Xuliujing entrance area, the Yellow River Mouth, including the four regions of modern Yellow River in the old course of the Yellow River, the Bohai Bay and Laizhou Bay. The samples were collected from the river floodplains or climax Beach for surface sediments. All samples were particle size measurements and magnetic measurements, according to the measurement results, select a representative sample particle size separation on the basis of magnetic measurements and geochemical analysis. The main conclusions are as follows: the Yangtze Delta sample main types of silt and clay, silt, and the Yellow River Mouth sample type clayey silt and sandy silt. Overall, in the river near the mouth segment, the Yangtze Delta sample crude in the Yellow River Mouth sorting better; little thicker in the estuary of the Yellow River mouth samples longer Eguchi. This is different to the composition of the material source of two major rivers sediment and the sedimentation dynamics huge difference. Yangtze Delta and the Yellow River Estuary magnetic minerals are ferrimagnetic minerals mainly exist incomplete contribution of antiferromagnetic minerals. Ferrimagnetic mineral samples of the Yangtze Delta and incomplete antiferromagnetic mineral content than the mouth of the Yellow River, and thus has a higher X the SIRM, SOFT The X ARM, and HIRM value; However, the Yellow River mouth deposition not a complete anti-matter in the relative contribution of ferromagnetic minerals is higher than the Yangtze Delta, and thus has a lower S -100 values. The coarser magnetic minerals in the sediments of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River in the highest concentrations of very fine silt and fine powder sand level, finer magnetic minerals enriched in clay fractions. The Yangtze River Estuary 2-4μm ,4-8μm ,8-16μm ,16-32μm, and> the the 63μm fraction X, SIRM, SOFT, X ARM , S -100 sub The> and HIRM value significantly higher than that of the Yellow River. Surface sediments of the Yangtze Delta and the Yellow River mouth often, the content of trace elements. Most of the trace elements the former Fu Fe, Ti and of Cu, Zn, Cd, the latter of Ca, Na, Sr, Ba content of higher than the Yangtze River, is consistent with the results of previous studies. Indicators to distinguish between the Yangtze Delta and the Yellow River Estuary: the full sample S -100 ~ SIRM diagram,> 63μm, 8 ~ 16μm and 4 ~ 8μm fractions magnetic parameters comparison, Na ~ Sr bulk Point, Ca-Sr-Al endmember diagram and S -100 to Ca, S -100 to Sr diagram.
