Abstract


As the promotion of the vocational education policy in our country recent years,the secondary vocational education of county level has developed increasingly,which put a great influence on the economy development of rural areas. It plays a critical role in training the rural technical personnel,balancing the education development in rural areas, helping promote poor families’ schooling, easing the pressure of national examinations and implementing the quality education. However, there are still some problems appearing with the development of secondary vocational schools, such as the insufficient educational investment, the lack of qualified teachers, the poor quality of student cultivating, the great gap between educating and social demanding, the superficial cooperation between school and firms,etc. all those problems needs us to think them over and solve them. Based on the researches about secondary vocational schools in ChongYang county, this paper gives an introduction to the secondary vocational education situation in counties, and helps to analyse the existed problems. Meanwhile, some suggestions have been made at the end of the thesis, aiming to improve secondary vocational education in counties, helping and supporting the rural areas education and the construction of new socialist countryside.This paper concludes four parts:Part one is proceedings.it illustrates the reasons why the author chose this research title, its purpose and meaning, the content fram and research methods.Part two illustrates the importance of secondary vocational education in the county economy and social development. It analyses the demanding of applied technical personnel in new countryside construction. It also introduces development of secondary education in counties and its function, the relationship between the secondary vocational education and regional economy development, the new rural construction.Part three studies the situation of rural secondary vocational education development with ChongYang county as an example. This part analyses the situation of our secondary vocational education, summarizing the main problems in the secondary vocational education including those in people’s conception, the education investment,the educational form, the teaching staff, and the cooperation between schools and firms. Part four discusses how the secondary vocational education supports the development of county social economy.it provides some efficient ways to solve the educational problems in rural areas according to the national policy,some concrete measures which include the support of national policies, implementation of free education,expanding the admissions scale, enforcing the cooperation between cities and rural areas, increasing the fitness of vocational education and social demanding, enforcing the deep cooperation between the schools and firms.
