Water jet (WJ) machining and abrasive water jet (AWJ) machining as an advanced processing technology , its processing does not produce thermal stresses, does not change the metal microstructure and the physical and chemical properties than traditional mechanical the processing method has incomparable superiority . This thesis focuses on the study of how to apply the PMAC motion controller and COM technology to establish an open CNC system platform on the PC to the original water jet CNC system defects . Open water jet CNC system can better solve the contradiction between the frequent changes in demand and closed control system institutions , the establishment of a new modular , reconfigurable , scalable control system structure , in order to increase the water jet CNC system the function of flexible, in order to respond quickly and efficiently to the new processing needs. The paper first constructed based PC PMAC open water jet CNC system hardware , PC and PMAC main from controlling hardware architecture . Then, based on COM technology open water jet CNC system software design , the idea of a hierarchical design of the upper management of the PC software and real-time control of the motion controller software . Change of address PMAC motion control card set will be able to program simulation run , the simulation of the machining program for simple parts . Satisfactory system performance by selecting the reasonable control parameters . FBI through the system to verify the correctness of communication between system components and modules , to achieve the required functions of the water jet CNC system . The results of this thesis has important theoretical significance and practical value .
