Abstract


Since 2006, China's railway transportation efficiency is far ahead in the world, in order to account for 6% of the world's railway operating mileage completed 25% of the world's railway workload, the volume of passenger transportation, cargo delivery volume of transport, traffic density, the total converted turnover the main indicators ranking first in the world, the contrast, the economic benefits of rail transport in China is at a low level, far behind the other countries. The railway is the country's critical infrastructure, plays a key role in the integrated transport system. Since the reform and opening up, China's railway transportation industry has been developing rapidly, but still can not meet the needs of national economic and social development issues. China Railway either passenger or freight transport efficiency are the largest in the world, but its economic benefits, but in contrast. This article will focus on research and explore the paradox of high transport efficiency and low economic efficiency from the industrial point of view of economics and western economics, trying to find a way to resolve this contradiction. In this paper, by collecting information on a large number of domestic and international rail transport efficiency and economic benefits, comparative and comprehensive method the scientific depth analysis of the data. First of efficiency and economic benefits of the status quo of China's railway transport awareness, through the development of rail transport situation in recent years, it is evident, China's railway transport intensity that efficiency is the highest in the world, but the indicators of the economic benefits of the railway has continued to decline, or even a loss. Followed by chart data and foreign industry to expand the comparative analysis of transportation efficiency and economic benefits of the status quo proposed rail transport in China and other countries in the world-wide gap in the transport efficiency and economic benefits, high transport efficiency and low economic efficiency has been revealed . In order to further clarify the positioning of China's railway transport market in the country, the paper also rail transport with other modes of transport on transport efficiency and economic problems were horizontal comparison. Obtained through a comparative analysis of China's railway transport transport industry in the country is also a high-efficiency, low-cost-effective. Analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness of domestic and international rail transport, recognizing China's railway transportation in a high level of efficiency, the main reason for the low economic efficiency: low level of Chinese railway freight railway transportation enterprises to take the high accumulated debt of the public service transport as well as the internal management of the railway transport enterprises confusion caused by the low level of efficiency. Suggestions in the text part of these problems affect the economic benefits of rail transport corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, such as the release rate regulation, to give subsidies to nonprofit transportation, improve internal management mechanism, strengthen the construction of road network. The innovation of this paper, the researchers used empirical analysis method, mainly used in comparative analysis with an integrated approach through a comparative analysis of the foreign rail transport efficiency and economic benefits of the data and the data of the domestic transportation industry draw the corresponding conclusions and summarized the problems of China's railway transportation. Suggestions and put forward their own views: relax price controls, give subsidies to nonprofit transportation, strengthen internal management and road network construction, especially in the construction of the road network that increase the construction of road networks, high-speed rail passenger line opened travelers to buy tickets difficult travel difficult problems can be very effective to solve the great extent to meet the traveling the growing demand and potential demand.
