Abstract


Influenced by the financial crisis and many other factors, the volume of trade between China and Russia fell sharply by the end of 2008, which increasingly protruded the problems in the economic and trade relations between the two countries. Since 2009, the stimulus policies taken respectively by the two countries have achieved the satisfactory effect that the economy of the two countries has climbed steadily. As the world economy moves into the re-establishing post-financial-crisis era, the economic and trade relation between China and Russia has warmed up rapidly and leads to a new trend. Therefore, the two countries should seize this opportunity and strengthen the full adjustment of the economic and trade relation between the two countries. Meanwhile, they should also constantly reinforce the strategic cooperation relationship between China and Russia and achieve the strategic upgrading in the economic and trade relations between the two countries. On the basis of summarizing the research fruits at home and aboard and through analyzing the macro environment and current situation of the trade between China and Russia, this paper expounds the problems and development potential existing in the economic and trade relation between China and Russia, with the International Trade Theory as the theoretical basis of analysis. Simultaneously, it also pointedly comes up with the path selections and countermeasures helping the two countries to achieve the strategic upgrading in the post-financial-crisis era.
