Abstract

This study was carried out goat diets methionine level on rumen metabolism and blood parameters to provide technical support aimed at limiting amino acids - methionine regulation of nutritional physiology of ruminants . Select 3 in good body condition , install permanent rumen fistula , weight 20 ± 2.5kg adult Xiangdong black goat as experimental animals , the preparation of three kinds methionine levels were 0.10 % ( LM ) , 0.20 % ( MM ) and 0.30% ( HM ) of the experimental diets , using 3 × 3 Latin square design, test is divided into three installments immediately after the end of the trial transferred to the pre - feeding period of the next trial . To study the effects of methionine levels on rumen metabolism and blood parameters . The results showed : pH values ??and their average rumen at each time point there was no significant difference ( P GT ; 0.05 ) ; rumen NH3-N concentration average days were 11.79mg/dl, 8.66 mg / dl and 9.32 mg / dl ( P gt ; 0.05 ) , rumen pH value and NH3 - N concentration showed a decreasing trend with increasing dietary methionine levels ( P gt ; 0.05 ) ; the dietary methionine Add level of rumen total volatile fatty acid , acetic acid, propionic acid and butyric acid concentration as well as the role of acetate : propionate ratio had no significant effect ( P gt ; 0.05 ) ; the goat blood total protein ( TP ) , amylase ( AMY ) , lactate dehydrogenase ( LDH ) , blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and insulin ( INS ) days average levels were not significantly different ( P gt ; 0.05 ) feed MM diets goat blood glucagon days was significantly higher than the average content of feed LM and HM diets goats ( P lt ; 0.05 ) , goat feed HM ??diet was significantly higher than goats to feed LM diets ( P lt ; 0.05 ) These results suggest that : diets supplemented with methionine is conducive to rumen metabolism , which is the most appropriate to add 0.20% .
