Abstract

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), also known as blue-ear disease caused by porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), in the long history of China's pig breeding industry, to cause reproductive failure in sows and the effect would be small swine respiratory syndrome as the main features, the spread of fast spread wide, seriously affecting the healthy development of China's pig breeding industry. The 1995 PPRS a comprehensive initial outbreak in the country, caused by PRRSV variant \The paper by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) monitoring of April 2005, 11 April 2006, November, April 2007, 11 April 2008, November 2009, 4 months, 11 Hunan scale pig farms breeding pigs (sows, gilts and boars) and at different stages of commercial pig PRRSV antibody levels, the results show the growth and decline of the law of this scale pig breeding herd, the commodity herd of PRRSV serum antibody levels with pig have a certain relationship between the group of blue-ear disease prevalence and herd production targets. This relationship is mainly in pigs PRRSV the mean antibody S / P value of coefficient of variation was inversely related to the relationship, and when the larger the coefficient of variation, the lower the average S / P value, herd outbreak of blue ear disease the greater the risk; when the smaller the coefficient of variation, the greater the average S / P value, the more stable herd, the better the production targets. In June 2007, the herd outbreak of blue ear disease in pigs infected with PRRSV, focus on shorter disease duration, the breeding herd artificial infection experiments. The results show that the artificial infection experiments, pigs can get a high level of PRRSV antibody levels, and the coefficient of variation is small, the stability of the herd production. PRRSV is still present in the herd, in piglets level of maternal antibodies disappear after re-infection, but the effect is smaller, showed only mild symptoms will return to normal. But this effect after artificial infection only maintained for almost two years. 2 years after the breeding herd antibody levels and piglets maternal antibody levels were significantly decreased, and the coefficient of variation, pigs and re-emergence of blue-ear disease epidemic, this case is similar to the 2 years before the case with artificial infection experiments. This further illustrates the importance of the uniformity of the herd PRRSV antibody levels and antibody level of the outbreak of blue ear disease to prevent pigs. This experiment also found that the introduction of gilts direct result of fluctuations in the level of PRRSV antibody, pose a threat to the entire herd, pig farms should be aware of the risk of introduction for farms to develop on the introduction of safeguards. Understand the law of dynamics of commodity piglets antibody by antibody detection of PRRSV infection link in the farm, pig, commercial pig serum antibodies to predict the risk of the outbreak of blue ear disease in pigs for the prevention and control of PRRS provide useful information, can be more effectively targeted prevention work.
