Abstract

In this experiment, mint, Houttuynia, honeysuckle, Radix Astragalus, berberine, woody, Qinpi common preparation of more than 10 herbs herbal additives, fattening pigs production performance, carcass traits, pork quality and immune function of affected. 200 were selected weight about 60kg Duroc × Landrace × Yorkshire crossbred (D × L × Y) finishing pigs were randomly assigned to 4 treatments, each treatment five replicates, each column as a repeat each Repeat 10 test pigs. The four treatments were control group fed a basal diet 50mg/kg antibiotic group (50% virginiamycin); 0.5% group fed the basal diet supplemented with 0.5% herbal additives; 1.0% group fed with basal Chinese herbal medicine additive group of dietary 1.0%; 1.5%, 1.5% herbal additives in the basal diet. The results are as follows: (1) Add herbs can always improve diets, crude protein apparent digestibility of the trend, and significantly improve the performance of fattening pigs (P lt; 0.05). In the diet of fattening pigs, 1.0%, 1.5% Chinese herbal medicine and antibiotic control group, the total apparent digestibility were increased by a 0.41% 0.87% (P GT; 0.05); apparent digestibility of crude protein of 1.20% (P gt; 0.05), 5.30% (P lt; 0.05) 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5% of Chinese herbal medicine, daily gain increased 1.74% (P gt; 0.05), 3.38% (P gt; 0.05), 12.37% (P lt; 0.05); day average intake were increased by 1.56% (P lt; 0.05), 3.11% (P lt; 0.05), 10.51% (P lt; 0.05); feed conversion ratio decreased by 0.33%, 0.33%, 1.64%, but the difference was not significant ( p gt; 0.05) (2) Add the herbal additives to improve carcass traits of fattening pigs and pork quality. 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5% herbal additives and antibiotics in the control group compared to carcass weight were increased by a 0.84% ??(P GT; 0.05), 0.56% (P gt; 0.05), 3.58% (P lt; 0.05) ; lean meat increased 8.29%, 10.14%, 10.06% (P lt; 0.05); backfat thickness was reduced by 8.96%, 8.96%, 8.46% (P lt; 0.05); drip loss was reduced by 3.60% , 7.48%, 8.74% (P lt; 0.05); and significantly improve meat color and marbling score (P lt; 0.05) (3) Chinese herbal medicine additives significantly improve the fattening pigs serum immunoglobulin, complement and thyroid hormone concentrations (P lt; 0.05), 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5% herbal additives and antibiotics control compared to serum IgA concentrations were increased 3.37% (P gt; 0.05), 29.21 (P lt; 0.05), 32.58 (P lt; 0.05); concentration of IgG were increased by 12.99%, 15.32%, 18.44%, (P lt; 0.05); IgM concentration were increased by 19.64%, 19.64%, 26.79% (P lt; 0.05); C3's increased the concentration of 16.67%, 16.67% and 25.00% (P lt; 0.05); C4 content increased 100%, 120%, 120% (P lt; 0.05); FT3 levels were increased by 10.29%, 13.24%, 14.71% (P lt; 0.05); FT4 levels were increased by 6.53%, 7.60%, 5.97% (P lt; 0.05) Seen in this trial, adding Chinese herbal medicine add significantly improve the immunity of fattening pigs, carcass traits, pork quality and production performance, and its application more effective than antibiotics.
