Abstract


Porcine circovirus (Porcine circovirus, PCV) is a non-enveloped single-stranded negative-stranded DNA virus, is a the circovirus Division (Circoviridae) members. The genome of single-stranded circular DNA, virus particles non-enveloped, icosahedral symmetry, is currently one of the smallest viruses known. PCV type 1 (PCV1) and type 2 (PCV2) from two genotypes, PCV1 first by Tiseher and was found in the PK-15 cells, the genome of 1759bp, non-pathogenic degeneration; the the PCV2 genome length 1767bp or the 1768bp, is considered to be post-weaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (Postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome, PMWS) pathogen. PMWS is a progressive weight loss and multi-system pathology injury as the main feature of immunosuppressive diseases, occurs mainly in the 6-16 week-old weaned piglets. Disease in our country since the first report in 2000, have been widely popular in the provinces, the threat to our country's aquaculture industry, and caused huge economic losses. Therefore, strengthening the the PCV2 epidemiological investigation and vaccine development are important. The contents of the study include the following aspects: the investigation by ELISA 280 sera from six different farms in Anyang area PCV2 antibody detection, the results showed that the infection rate of the different farms uneven, ranging from 15.38% -64.53 %, the overall positive rate was 43.21%, further evidence of the the Anyang types of swine of PCV2 infections are more common. Be seen from the survey results, the rate of PCV2 antibodies have some correlation with the age of the pig of the same herd, the greater the age of the pig, the higher the rate of PCV2 antibodies. Combination of epidemiological, clinical symptoms, pathological changes, the use of PCR technology from the six counties in Anyang City, 131 were suspected of porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) infection incidence pig tissue disease material (spleen, lung, lymph nodes) the PCV2 detection, the positive rate was 63.36%, indicating that PCV2 in Anyang area has been widespread and popular.
