Abstract


Urban spatial structure reflect the urban social and economic life in the urban space. In the planned economy system, the space is a carrier and container of the economic and social activities, as well as human behavior, its economic value is very small. Under the market economic system, the space has a richer meaning and more important sense, the space has become a resource for economic subjects intake of the interests of the economic activity. The evolution of the spatial structure of our city is no longer based on government-led closed, single reconstruction of the evolution of the way, but there is a clear spatial structure due to institutional change. Follow the traditional and pure economics, urban geography, urban economics methods to study the spatial structure of the evolution of the phenomenon has not fully qualified for the important key institutional economics to explain the evolution of the spatial structure of Chinese cities. The industry is the dominant of the national economy, the industrial growth of the entire country, regional and urban economic growth has continued leading role, and its layout is related to China's national economy and social development. Institutional change led to the organization of industrial production and location choice factors change, our institutional change of the spatial structure of the urban industrial structure than other living space structure, the structure of commercial space space more typical and representative.
