Abstract


Security is the basic human needs of the most fundamental kind. Security and development are the two major tasks of modern society, people in the pursuit of eternal social development, have a new understanding of security. The traditional security mainly refers to the military security, political security. As society progresses, the resulting non-traditional security issues. Security and socio-economic development of increasingly close ties, both interdependence and mutual restraint. Water resources are a valuable resource indispensable for human survival, but also an important part of the natural environment, its utilization will affect the socio-economic security. The current socio-economic indicators to what extent can the urban water security is guaranteed? How to coordinate the relationship between the social economic development and water security? These are one of the issues of concern. Refer to the extensive literature on the basis to introduce the status of water security system at home and abroad; socio-economic research, pointed out that the main problems in the study and future trends: analysis of urban water resources and water features, and security theory as well as socio-economic security, and laid the foundation for the urban water security system under the conditions of social and economic security. The study of the safety and security of water resources is the focus of this article. The paper analyzes the significance of water security, water security degree of quantitative methods, including the introduction of protection degrees comprehensive characterization of the degree of water security. The security system of urban water resources research has important practical significance to the city's water supply, water conservation planning and regional economic and social development planning.
