Abstract


Chinese Jujube is a precious germplasm resources originated from China, belongs to Ziziphus,Rhamnaceae family. China is the largest nation on Jujube’s commercialization of artificial cultivation area. To provide the scientific basis for breeding of Chinese Jujube in south, this paper studied and discussed the fertility of pollen and influence of environmental factors and endogenous hormones on pollen germination, and presented the performance of pollen germination that LiZao as female, Jinsixiaozao,Dabailing, Jidan zao, Mopanzao as male and LiZao selfcrossing.The conclusion it is suggested as the follows:1. Pollen germinability, pollen viability and pollen deformability had obvious differences between different varieties in date. Pollen germinability had a significantly positive relationship with pollen viability and had a significantly negative relation-ship with pollen deformability.2. Effect of Boric Acid on pollen germination is significant, especially for pollen tube growth. Agar’s and IAA’s function is not obvious. Agar may have inhibition. The result showed that the suitable concentration of sucrose was 5%～15%, boric acid was 100-400mg/L,the optimum temperature was 25-30℃3. The pollen shape of difference in date varieties are stable But there are significant difference in pollen size of date varieties.4. Experiment on germination percentage of five southern Zizyphus Jujube pollen, and Content of 4 phytohormones，IAA, GA3,ZR and ABA,were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)in anthers of Caolinchangzao and Jinsixiaozao and Tangzao and Jidanzao and Dongzao jujube during five development stages to study the relationship between Pollen Fertility and phytohormone changes. The results showed that five southern Zizyphus Jujube pollen Fertility to expect with its anthers growth to have relativity inside the Content of 4 phytohormones the differences of IAA, GA3,ZR and ABA content -s were not significant among Caolinchangzao and Jinsixiaozao and Tangzao Jujube, but highly significant between Jidanzao and Tangzao jujube anthers. Fertile anthers were higher in IAA, GA3 and ZR contents, but lower in ABA content than sterile anthers, especially at the abortion stage of sepal flat.5. LiZao as female, for different combinations. The performance of pollen germination and elongation of pollen is significant. Dabailing, Jidanzao are the best for LiZao as female, the result is consistent to the tree of pollination fruit-bearing rate of statistical results.
