Abstract

Planting lawns in arid regions, the water supply is critical, the turf industry is a relatively expensive water industry. Turf establishment, aquasorb promote the application of new water-saving technologies, has become in recent years one of the hotspots of ecological studies. In this study the northern three tall fescue lawn one pot experiment, analysis the AQUASORB, extension of green type three kinds of different dosage aquasorb application in full and limited two water supply conditions on the growth of tall fescue, physiological characteristics , the lawn soil water content and water-saving effect. Made the following main research results: 1. Impact on soil water retention: adequate water supply, 3 aquasorb different soil water content do not influence the water and the effect is not obvious. Limited water supply, the three kinds aquasorb shallow soil moisture content affect equally obvious, but highlight the impact of the deep soil moisture. 2. Germination rate: adequate water supply, Shi BASF and AQUASORB difference in germination time and germination rate on small application extension will Green aquasorb is to reduce the germination rate of tall fescue, but had no effect on the germination time; limited water supply use aquasorb are will reduce tall fescue germination rate and delay germination time. 3. Impact on the growth characteristics: adequate supplies, the BASF and AQUASORB each dosage of height growth of tall fescue little the extended Green aquasorb 570 g/m2 significantly improved height growth and other dosage had no effect; limited water supply , the application of BASF plant height growth increased slightly AQUASORB were the height growth declined slightly, and administration of the extension the Green aquasorb plant height growth improved greatly. Adequate water supply, BASF dosage amount of leaf growth had no effect AQUASORB were 90 g/m2 significantly reduced leaf growth, the extension of the Green 870 g/m2 significantly increased, and does not affect other dosage AQUASORB, sustain green; limited water supply when aquasorb impact on the amount of leaf growth with the application of BASF leaves of the blade plant height growth, that growth increased slightly, AQUASORB were leaf growth declined slightly administering the extended Green aquasorb leaf growth greater improved. Density and root to shoot ratio: different types and different amount of water retention agent, whether in full or limited water supply conditions impact of tall fescue density is insignificant. Under Adequate Water Supply, 3 aquasorb Apart from BASF high amount of root cap no effect, other aquasorb dosage shoot ratio has an impact. Under limited water supply conditions, the facilities aquasorb root to shoot ratio in general are With the increase in the amount gradually decreases, but there was little difference. 5 leaf water content and water potential: adequate water supply, three kinds aquasorb on tall fescue leaf water content and water potential had no effect; limited water supply, of BASF and AQUASOR different dosage of leaf water content did not differ large, big difference; extension of the Green affect the amount of leaf water content and leaf water potential addition BASF60g/m2, AQUASORB 60 g/m2 processing water potential lower dosage during water stress tall fescue can maintain higher leaf water potential effectively improve the drought resistance of tall fescue. 6. Chlorophyll: adequate supplies BASF 60 g/m2 and 90 g/m2 of chlorophyll content in AQUASORB were, respectively, higher than the control 15.31%, 15.71%, the most significant effect extension Green aquasorb on each amount of processing chlorophyll content in control; limited water supply, the chlorophyll content of the facilities aquasorb processing are higher than that of the control, can significantly improve tall fescue the photosynthetic adjust force. The 7. Photosynthetic characteristics: adequate water supply, tall fescue net photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, water use efficiency and stomatal conductance is insignificant compared to the change in water absorbent applied and without administering aquasorb the. Limited water supply water absorbent applied, can significantly improve the net photosynthetic rate and water use efficiency, transpiration rate and stomatal conductance is reduced, will help improve the photosynthetic rate and can reduce plant water loss, improve drought resistance. 8. Resilience characteristics: adequate water supply, BASF, AQUASORB were low dosage (30g/m2) can improve the stress tolerance of tall fescue, had no effect on the extension of the Green aquasorb amount of stress resistance; limited water supply, water agent in cell membrane damage rate are lower than the untreated, but the AQUASOBR effect is not significant, BASF and extension of the Green can significantly improve tall fescue stress resistance. Water-saving effect: adequate water supply, three kinds aquasorb low dosage can reduce evapotranspiration of tall fescue, high volume has little effect on the amount of evapotranspiration; limited water supply, the amount of processing average daily aquasorb evapotranspiration are less than adequate supplies, including BASF 60 g/m2 AQUASORB were 60 g/m2 and 540 g/m2 saving effect of extension of the Green obviously, with sufficient water supply compared to water-saving 0.5 mm / d, 0.43 mm / d 0.20 mm / d, water-saving rate of 14.5% -17.1%, therefore, for the Establishment and maintenance of tall fescue lawn in lawn impending drought irrigation.
