Abstract


The propagation techniques of seeding, cutting and tillering were studied on Patrinia villosa.1. The effects of these three methods were all good. Among them, the tillering seeding grew best, annual production of edible fresh tender bine leaves reaches 56.3 kg/m2.2. Based on the strong ecological adaptation, Patrinia villosa was suitable to be cultivated. Once seminationsowing, we can profit from the Patrinia villosa in several years.3. The nutrient constituents of wild and cultured Patrinia villosa have been determination and analyzed. The results showed that the difference between nutrient constituents of wild Patrinia villosa and that of cultured one was minor. And both had rich mineral elements. Mn content in cultured Patrinia villosa is more than four times that in wild one, while Ca content in wild Patrinia villosa is higher than that in cultured one about 6.5 percent.So, the Patrinia villosa can be cultivated and propagated as wild vegetables.
