Abstract


This thesis focuses on the development trend of chemical warfare agents and protection technology, and puts forward opinions and Suggestions on the chemical defense construction of our army. Is divided into five chapters: the first chapter, history and its harm to the development of chemical weapons is reviewed, mainly introduced the formation of the chemical weapons convention, the Taiwanese army chemical warfare capability and the Chinese government position on chemical weapons. The second chapter, this paper expounds the types and preparation methods of chemical warfare agents, agents of toxicology were introduced in detail. The third chapter, introduces the development trend of chemical weapons, including new concept of chemical weapons, poison agents and binary chemical weapons. Through the toxicity of ricin illustrations, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of binary chemical weapons. The fourth chapter, the comparison of the chemical agent detection and protection methods, including chemical method, physical method and biochemical method. Points out their limitations, namely, the detection of low speed, low sensitivity, the lack of specificity, complex operation and it is not convenient to carry. The fifth chapter, conclusion: (1) strengthen chemical protective equipment informationization construction our army; (2) improve the officers and men of chemical defense ability; (3) strengthen the foreign research; (4) strengthen the chemical research.
