Abstract

The purpose study ASIA2000 standard role in the prognostic assessment of patients with spinal cord injury nerve function recovery . May 2004 to May 2006 the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, orthopedic admitted 42 patients with acute spinal cord injury patients using ASIA2000 standards for prognostic assessment . Compare with nerve function after treatment for six months after injury of patients . Results after combined therapy, 20 patients with complete spinal cord injury patients were reversed to incomplete injury , follow-up, 19 cases of non- reversal ASIA feeling , sports scores increased significantly . 22 patients with incomplete spinal cord injury patients with sensory and motor function improved significantly better than patients with complete injury ( p <0.05 ) . Conclusion incomplete spinal cord injury patients may be reversed as incomplete spinal cord injury , and can significantly segmental nerve function recovery . Incomplete spinal cord injury patients with nerve function can be significantly restored . Nerve function assessment in spinal cord injury , ASIA2000 standard of great value.
