Abstract


Objective To understand the chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (CITP) in patients with Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection , explore the glucocorticoids joint anti-HP treatment of the HP positive CITP patients with clinical efficacy , intends for CITP treatment provided a new non- immunological methods. Methods A retrospective analysis of 35 CITP patients admitted to our hospital in June 2005 November 2006 . 14C- urea breath test and serum Helicobacter pylori antibodies were positive that HP infection were detected 24 cases of HP positive results , 11 HP negative patients . The positive line anti-HP combined hormone therapy , the 14C- urea breath test 4 weeks after the review of sterilization situation . HP negative patients treated with hormone therapy . Of the two groups in age, sex , clinical presentation, admission platelet count , bone marrow megakaryocyte number and platelet count before and after treatment efficacy comparative analysis . CITP patients with HP infection rate was 69%. 24 patients with HP positive in 19 cases of sterilization successful HP eradication rate was 79% . Positive group and negative group, the average age was 45.2 ± 13.6 years , 30.7 ± 15.8 years ( p- lt ; 0.05 ) and average bone marrow giant nuclear cell number , respectively, to 269.3 ± 231.2 Ge / piece , 109.7 ± 94.9 / tablets ( p- lt ; 0.05 ). Two groups in gender , clinical manifestations , admission platelet count , the difference was no statistically significant ( P gt; 0.05 ) . Positive group anti-HP treatment of the CITP total effective rate of 92% , higher than the negative group , 63 % ( P lt; 0.05 ) . HP eradication successful group mean platelet count of 9.6 ± 8.6 × 109 / L increased to 110.5 ± 63.9 × 109 / L ( p lt; 0.01 ) ; higher than the eradication of the HP fails group therapy 45.8 ± 34.5 × 109 / L and negative group 61.5 ± 52.4 × 109 / L ( P lt; 0.05 ) , the elevated platelet magnitude higher than the other two groups (p lt; 0.05) Conclusion 1.CITP patients with HP infection rate is higher than the normal population . The average age of patients 2.HP positive CIT and bone marrow megakaryocytes degree of compensatory hyperplasia than HP -negative . 3 . Hormone combined with anti-HP treatment the HP positive CITP patients efficacy is superior to simple applications hormones HP negative . HP eradication therapy helps patients with HP positive CITP enhance platelet count .
