Abstract

Oatmeal is one of the important forage crops, the System under salt stress oats germination and growth of the late variety of physiological and biochemical indicators of change, salt tolerance mechanism can be revealed from multiple oats rich oats salt tolerance physiological research content, for salt-tolerant varieties provide a theoretical basis. This study has selected four oat varieties Ronald, Denmark 444, Bai Yan 2, and given the Naked Oats 4 indoor germination and pot tests combined systematic study of the physiology and biochemistry of oats salt stress response characteristics, the main results as follows: (1) salt stress oat germination and seedling growth significantly inhibited. Under salt stress oat germination rate, germination potential, germination index, vigor index, seedling height, root length, root biomass in root activity indicators showed a downward trend, with increasing salt concentration and exacerbated the decline. Differences between the oat varieties are also very significant, Ronald germination rate in four varieties, germination index, vigor index, seedling height, root length, root number and root activity indicators at the highest salt concentration (200mmol / L) compared with the control the smallest decrease, respectively, 43.3%, 40.5%, 60%, 45.4%, 38.7%, 27%, 33.6%; given You - the 4th largest decline, 70.5%, 57.6%, 86%, 54.8%, 44.3% , 48.5%, 43.4%. Other two varieties middle. Preliminary indication Ronald salt tolerance, given the Naked Oats 4 salt tolerance of the worst. (2) under salt stress, oats through accumulated more proline, soluble protein and soluble sugar resistance to osmotic stress, maintain normal cell physiological metabolism. The higher the salt concentration, osmotic adjustment substance of oats accumulated more. Four for the test species in proline, soluble protein, soluble sugar accumulation rate, there are significant differences. Highest salt concentration (200mmol / L), Ronald compared to control its proline, soluble protein, soluble sugar accumulation are the 4th largest fixed Naked Oats the minimum reveal the osmotic stress Ronald confrontation ability given You - the 4th weakest. (3) under salt stress oats MDA content increased with increasing salt concentration. Significant differences between varieties, You-4 over other varieties increased rapidly but the largest amount (1.3 times), Ronald minimum (91.6%). Naked Oats 4 membrane by the degree of injury. (4) salt oats antioxidant enzyme system stress leads to a significant change in the activities of SOD, POD, CAT, APX activity increased with increasing salt concentration, and very significant differences between varieties. The highest salt concentration (200mmol / L), compared to the activity of SOD, POD, CAT and control Ronald respectively 78.9%, 45.5%, 72%, will be You - 4, respectively, an increase of 68.4%, 43.3%, 55.8%. That Ronald ratio given Oats 4 have more powerful antioxidant enzyme system in response to salinity caused by the stress. (5) of salt stress on photosynthesis, oats significant inhibition, the oat leaf area, chlorophyll, dry matter accumulation, photosynthetic rate of flag leaf intercellular CO 2 concentration, flag leaf stomatal conductance, transpiration rate and other indicators are affected dramatically, and with increasing salt concentration, the inhibitory effect of strengthening. Differences between varieties are also very significant. Highest salt concentration Ronald leaf area, SPAD value, dry matter accumulation and photosynthetic rate of flag leaf stomatal conductance and transpiration rate indicators compared with the control drop minimum, respectively, 28.5%, 19.5%, 20.9%, 68.1%, 53.6%, 60.6%, given 4 You - the largest decline, 43.8%, 30.7%, 25.8%, 83%, 74.5%, 74.4%, respectively. That Ronald able to more effectively carry out photosynthesis, accumulated more dry matter. (6) Salt stress leads oat plants of ions and their imbalance, as the salt concentration increases, oats, a significant increase in the absorption of Na, Cl-, K absorption is significantly decreased, resulting in Na / K ratio was also significantly increased. severely inhibited the growth of oats. Four varieties, Ronald Na content, Cl-content at the highest salt concentration (200mmol / L) compared with the control increased by 5.3 times and 3.5 times, respectively, given 4 You - an increase of 5.9 times and 3.9 times, respectively; Ronald K content compared with the control reduced to 80%, a 87.4% reduction in fixed Naked Oats 4. (7) 4 oat varieties Ronald strongest salt tolerance, Denmark 444 and Bai Yan 2, followed by fixed You - the 4th worst.
