Abstract


Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a serious threat to public health in the current world-wide one of the chronic diseases . The range of its etiology , pathogenesis is complex . The Four Wonderful pill effective prescription for the clinical treatment of RA . The topics to four wonderful pill as easy to read as the object of study , RA is an entry point , a more in-depth study of the party 's anti-inflammatory mechanism of immune function and the treatment of RA . Objective: To study the the four pill RA mechanism . Methods: The rats with adjuvant arthritis ( AA ) as an experimental model , Tripterygium as a positive control , the experimental study . The observed rat paw swelling , pressure pain tolerance value , thymus and spleen index , as well as intra - articular pathology histological changes ; , red blood cell innate immune serum inflammatory cytokines and vascular endothelial growth factor protein expression and other indicators of the four wonderful pill anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects of AA rats as well as part of the mechanism . Results: (1) four wonderful pill has significant anti-inflammatory , analgesic and immunomodulatory effects, significantly inhibited the the AA rat paw edema and polyarthritis , AA rats pressure pain tolerance value , to improve the AA rats immune organ index , significantly reduced lesions joint synovial inflammation and hyperplasia , to prevent the destruction of articular cartilage and bone . ( 2 ) four wonderful pill by inhibiting excessive AA rats inflammatory cytokines TNF - alpha and IL -1beta secretion, to improve the Erythrocyte natural immune function , and play an anti - inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects . ( 3 ) four pill down the expression of VEGF in the synovial tissue , reduce angiogenesis , thereby inhibiting the formation of pannus . Conclusion: four wonderful pill has a multi-level , multi-channel , multi-targeted anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects .
