Abstract


In the period of Qin and Han Dynasties, China’s feudal society bengan to form and develop.This period,the feudal economy represented by agriculture had grown much.Because of the difference in environment condition, agricultural production was very uneven in different area. We select Henan district,which is one of the important birthplace of Chinese civilization and Chinese traditional economy center as the object of study.This thesis links agricultural production with environmental condition,relates the fact of Henan’s agricultural production, analysises favorable and unfavorable terms in the Qin and Han Dynasties.This thesis includes five parts. Part one: Preamble.This part contents the significance and the research subjects. Parttoo:Henan’s agricultural environment of Qin and Han Dynasties. In the period of Qin and Han Dynasties, Henan’s natural condition was unique,it was very suitable for developping the agricultural production,and Henan’s agricultural production had a good base for development. Part three: Henan’s agricultural production of Qin and Han Dynasties. In the period of Qin and Han Dynasties, Henan region was the main producing area of the National food and polyandrum, so food crops and cash crops cultivation was widespread. During this period, Animal husbandry and fishery had much development ,too. Part four:The factors which promoted the agricultural production during Qin and Han Dynasties. In the period of Qin and Han Dynasties, quantity of the population was an important indicator which could measure the level of economic development of a region.The population’s advantage provided a prerequisite for Henan agricultural production.Bcause Large number of water conservancy project were built,so they greatly promoted development and prosperity of Henan’s agricultural production. The advance of farming technology improved the levels of Henan’s agricultural production,too. Part five: The factors which Constrainted the agricultural production during Qin and Han Dynasties. During Qin and Han Dynasties,the agricultural production had an rapid development,but at this time, the Yellow River run wild, water, drought, locusts and other natural disasters came into many hair period,so they brought a negative impact for Henan agricultural production.Henan’s geographicalit location determined that it was the war-torn area which also restricted the development of agricultural production to a large extent.
